I know our project is about the prom, so it got me to thinking. Are you going to the 2017 HHS Prom? Why or why not? Did you go last year or to prom at another school? How was it? Explain.
I planned on going to the prom but now im not because I found out that the guy that asked me had asked plenty of more girls other than me. I didn't go last year because I was only in the tenth grade and couldn't go. I am definitely going next year as a SENIOR!!!!!

We started working on the PowerPoint Project yesterday. How is it going? How much do you have done? What is left to finish? Do you have any questions? Explain
My project was incredibly easy and I finished it all in one day. I don't have any questions at all. Think of a time you had a decision to make. Explain & identify the choices (trade-offs) that you had, what you decided to do, & what the next best option was (opportunity cost).
I was asked to go to prom Friday night with Daniel Lewis from Stanhope Elmore High School. That night is the night of Holtville big rivalry game and I really want to go to show school spirit. What would you do?
Think of a time you had a decision to make. Explain & identify the choices (trade-offs) that you had, what you decided to do, & what the next best option was (opportunity cost).
Scenario 9 Its a Thursday night and I was asked a week ago to attend the junior party. All juniors were invited and we will just go and hang out and have fun. I realize that I have bible studies that same night at the same time. Bible studies are held every Thursday but this party on occur once a year.
On Friday, you learned 2 new terms- trade-off & opportunity cost. Define both terms in your own words and give us an example of what trade-offs and an opportunity cost might be. DO NOT COPY THIS FROM THE INTERNET!
A trade-off is where you list the possible options you have to consider to make a decision. For Example its Wednesday and my friends want to go hang out
An opportunity cost is the thing you want to do the most. For Example:
Today we begin our 2nd unit in Career Prep on Personal Decision Making. Do you consider yourself a good decision maker? Give an example and explain how that supports your answer.
Yes I consider myself a good decision maker because I consider the good and bad of every situation that comes up. I will never step into the situation unless I realize how it will affect others. For example, I got a text last night saying we didn't have any powder-puff jerseys to wear and I had to think about the fact that the seniors are entitled one set of jerseys but not every set but I didn't say anything because I knew that they would get upset since the fact they already claim they don't like us and we do to much.. This supports my answer because I thought before I spoke. This test had a lot of different material and was a good bit more difficult than the last one. What did you think? How did you prepare? Are you happy with your score? Explain in detail.
It was difficult but I learned a lot of material. I prepared by uploading every document that you gave to us on my flash drive and reading over it more than once. I am happy with my score but I feel like I could have done better than that but since I get test anxiety it is always hard for me to focus. The point that I wasn't really focused I will gladly accept my 80 because it could have been worse. I just like to see what I got wrong. Why is it important to back up files on your computer/tablet/device? Explain.
What are your "back up" options? Explain It is extremely important to back up files just in case you have an important document on your computer and somebody steals it, you will still have an opportunity to access the file. Your back up options are through Google or icloud most of the times because you normally have to set up those accounts and you information is easier to access. Do you talk to people more often in person (face to face) or digitally (via text, social media, e-mail, etc.)? Explain. Why do you think that is?
I talk to people more often digitally because I get shy and freeze up quickly. Sometimes I can express how I feel or the things that need to be said through a text because I hate when people judge me as soon as I say something. Suffering through anxiety, depression, and neglect it gets hard to talk to people. Explain how you can import pictures from your electronic device. What could you use those pictures for? Explain
Importing pictures is as easy as hooking an usb cord to the computer with the device attached and click upload. These pictures can be used for a various amount of things. You can use them as profile pictures or to design different things. |
